Membership of Ponteland Archers

In order to join any archery club, you must be a member of your local county Archery Association. Our county association is Durham & Northumberland Archery Association (DNAA). This entitles you to join Archery GB which also provides insurance cover shoot at other affiliated clubs upon payment, if applicable, of their ‘pay as you shoot’ charges as well as allowing you to enter competitions organised by Archery GB.

The combined annual membership for these organisations for 2025 / 2026 is:
• Senior: £65 • Under 21 years: £25 • Disabled: £25

This fee is for one year, regardless of when you join during the year.

PONTELAND CLUB FEES

An archery club has yearly expenses including equipment, repairs, cost of renting the field and renting the hall for winter indoor archery.  All committee members are voluntary and unpaid. The monthly subscription for the club has been calculated to cover these costs.

Our monthly membership fee is £15 for an adult and £7.50 for a young or disabled person up to age of 17 years old. This should be paid by bank standing order or direct debit.

As a member, we would request help (within your capabilities) with setting up and clearing of the archery range.  We may also ask you to assist with competitions and fund raising events organised by the club.
